Vatech was established in early 1992 in South Korea and the Vatech & E-WOO group was formed in 2002. There are currently 8 branch offices and 17 technical support centres worldwide with 11 overseas offices in 9 countries throughout the Europe, Asia and North America.

Vatech offers the most number of digital diagnostic systems 7 different dental CT models and 7 different panoramic X-ray systems and also develops and manufactures its own digital radiographic sensor, the most critical component of diagnostic X-ray systems. In 2007, Vatech brought 17" x 17" FPXD (Flat Panel X-ray Detector) into market with commercial implication of expanding the target market to include medical chest and veterinary X-ray market.

UK branch office was established in late 2007 and you probably have noticed our significant growth for the last two years.

More important are the reasons why Vatech & E-WOO has achieved so much.

To understand this we need to go back to 1992 and the principles upon which the Company was founded. The main aim was (and remains to this day) to manufacture products that are not simply what the customer wants but are more than the customer wants. In other words, consistently to exceed expectations. In order to realise this ambition the company invested heavily from the start.

Fundamental to the business philosophy was the need to take a long term approach. Products were not rushed on to the market for quick profit. Rather the view was taken that investment should be made (and maintained) in developing and utilising the highest standards of technology and linking these closely with R& D, people, quality control. It is testament to the validity of this policy that despite the deliberately slow start, demand rapidly grew on an ever increasing global scale.

A further significant factor in Vatech & E-WOO's growth is its understanding of its markets and the role its products play in helping the professions deliver better diagnoses.
